Who we are
The Third Mission Pathway is an incubation programme and learning platform operated in Kuwait, accompanying the book The Third Mission: Building an Entrepreneurial Nation by Dr. Abdullah Kh. AlMethen. In these terms, “the platform” means this website and the participant portal at thethirdmission.com.
Who may use the platform
Accounts are created either by redeeming a workshop access card issued to you by your institution, or by registering directly. You must give accurate details, you may not share your account or your access card with anyone else, and you are responsible for what happens under your account.
If your institution issued your account, they may enrol you in a cohort, place you in a team, and see your progress through the programme.
Your work stays yours
You keep all intellectual property in the work you create here — your business idea, your canvases, your feasibility study, your brand, your pitch. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your venture or your ideas to us.
You grant us only the permission needed to run the programme: to store your work, display it to you, and show it to the facilitators, mentors and teammates who are meant to see it.
What your team can see
Work you produce as part of a team — deliverables, the team charter, team channels — is visible to your teammates and to the facilitators running your cohort. Your individual workbook responses are visible to you and to programme staff who review progress. They are not shown to other participants.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful material, infringe anyone's rights, harass other participants, attempt to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with the platform's operation. We may suspend an account that does.
Certificates
A completion certificate is issued only when the programme's requirements are genuinely met, and each certificate carries a code that anyone can verify. We may revoke a certificate issued in error or obtained dishonestly.
Availability, and what we do not promise
We work to keep the platform available and your work safe, and we take regular backups. We cannot promise uninterrupted service. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
The programme provides education and structure. It does not provide legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and nothing here is a promise that your venture will succeed or attract funding.
Ending your participation
You may stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end access if you breach these terms, or when a programme concludes. On deletion we remove your personal data as described in the privacy notice.
Changes
If we change these terms materially we will say so on this page and, where the change matters to you, tell you in the platform. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of Kuwait have jurisdiction over any dispute.
